Skynapse · Intelligence in motion

Say what you need. Skynapse does the flying.

One operations room for drones, holding aircraft, missions, people and data together. The system prepares the flight, the drone flies it, and the important decisions stay with a person.

Objective

Find a hiker who did not come back last night.

The problem

Today a drone is a flying camera.

Someone has to fly it and someone has to watch the video, for hours. The real work, knowing where to go and what you are seeing, stays on people's shoulders.

Skynapse leaves the repetitive work to the machines and the decisions to people. Here is how, on a real case: a hiker has not come back.

01 The request

Draw the area, say what you are looking for.

The rescue team opens Skynapse from an ordinary computer, draws the area on the map and says it is looking for a person. That is all it takes to start.

02 The terrain

Skynapse reads the mountain.

Trails, roads, buildings, woods, slopes. A rescuer does not search at random but starts from the likeliest places. Skynapse reasons the same way, across the whole area.

03 The plan

The flight is ready in minutes.

It chooses route, height, speed and camera angle, and keeps the drone clear of trees, buildings, wires and wind turbines. Nobody has to draw it point by point.

04 The check

An AI rereads the plan, like a co-pilot.

Before take-off it points out what a map cannot show. It can only make the flight more cautious, never less.

05 The approval

A person decides.

The operator checks and approves. Without approval the drone does not leave, and if the plan changes it has to be approved again.

06 The flight

The drone flies the route by itself.

Video and position arrive live in an ordinary browser, in the field or on the other side of the country.

07 The finding

It sees. It stops. It asks.

The computer on board watches the images, even without the internet. When it sees a person, the drone stops and asks:

Is it them?

A person always makes the call.

In testing

What it does

That was one mission. The method works for all of them.

Every operation follows the same cycle, whatever the sector. What changes is the flight. Choose a mission and watch the route draw itself on the terrain.

Real terrain · drag to look around

Search at sea

Two people on a life raft, adrift for two hours.

You give the last known position. From wind and current Skynapse works out where they may be now, and sends the drone to the likeliest places first. A search area that is calculated, not guessed by eye.

Fawns in the wheat

Every year, in the wheat, fawns lie flat instead of running from the combine.

At dawn, before the sun warms the field, they are warm spots on cold ground. The drone sweeps the whole field with the thermal camera and marks them one by one: nobody touches them, and the combine leaves them an island of wheat.

Olive grove

Hundreds of trees to check, one by one.

Skynapse finds the crowns by itself and stops over each tree, at the right height to frame it. The agronomist has a picture of every olive tree, season after season, without walking the field.

Solar plant

After the hailstorm: which rows were hit?

The drone flies over the plant row by row, at the height the thermal camera needs and in full sun, when faulty cells can be recognised. Nobody has to walk it, and the judgement on defects stays with the technician.

Wind turbine

A storm has passed: what damage did the turbine take?

The drone circles the stopped turbine with the camera on the hub, at a safe distance from the others in the farm. The flight is the same every time, so inspections can be compared, and nobody has to climb up.

High-voltage pylon

Ice hit the line last night. What broke?

The drone rises above the wires and circles the pylon, with the camera on the insulators from start to finish. The AI asks for someone to check the site before take-off, and the technician judges the images from the ground.

Area watch

A team on the ground needs to know what it has in front of it.

The drone watches the area from a distance. Video and positions reach the team's phones, on the map it already uses, and the operator decides what to mark and share. In a dedicated edition, on your own servers.

Why it is faster

From sign-in to an approved plan: four minutes.

And that is not the only time you save. Compare how the work is done today with how it is done with Skynapse.

  • Deciding where to look

It depends on the experience of whoever is there.

The system reads the terrain and proposes the priorities.

  • Preparing the flight

    By hand, point by point.

A plan proposed in minutes, ready to approve.

  • Watching the video

Eyes fixed on the screen for the whole mission.

The computer on board is always watching.

  • Using different brands

    One program for each brand.

One screen for all of them.

  • Managing the fleet

Drones, maintenance and pilots in separate tools.

    Everything in one place.

  • Rebuilding the mission

    Notes and memories.

A record of actions and findings.

Skynaptor, our engine

We rewrote the inference engine.

Other systems make the AI write a sentence and then read it back. Ours goes straight to the answer, in a fraction of the time, on your own servers.

Why it is so fast

In the field

Pull the plug.

In the field the network is weak, and systems that depend on the internet stop exactly where they are needed. Skynapse keeps going. Try it.

  • Drone and station talk by radio, and the station reaches the platform over 4G.
  • The video adapts to the network and plays in an ordinary browser, anywhere.

On your infrastructure

It stays in your house, with what you already have.

For many organisations the images of an operation cannot sit on someone else's servers. Skynapse runs on your private cloud or your own servers, with your logins, your logs and your drones.
